Attendee Terms and Conditions

1. Payment terms

Our standard payment terms are that payment is taken at booking unless otherwise stated. If payment by invoice has been previously agreed, the payment needs to be made prior to the event start date.

2. Transfers

We are able to transfer your ticket at an event to a ticket for another event of equal value.

3. Cancellations

Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your attendance at an event and are unable to transfer your booking to another one the following refunds will apply: 

More than eight weeks prior to the event start date – full refund

Less than four weeks prior to the course – no refund.

4. Non-attendance

If you have not transferred or cancelled your ticket and do not attend the event, no refund is available, however you will be entitled to a copy of the slideshows from the day, subject to permission from the slide authors. 

5. Late arrivals/missed sessions

If you arrive late for an event or are absent from any session, the full ticket price remains payable. 

6. Unforeseen circumstances

If circumstances beyond our control require us to cancel an event, you will be notified immediately.  We will notify you of the new date for the event or else offer to transfer your ticket to another equivalent event. In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled by TMRM Ltd, a full refund will be made. If your tickets are part of a sponsorship package no refund for the tickets themselves will be given.

In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the conference is being postponed or the dates being changed, the organisers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate.

7. Access and Dietary Requirements

Delegates should advise of any special access requirements at the time of registration.

8. Speakers

Views expressed by speakers are their own. TMRM Ltd does not accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates.

9. Photography, Filming and Social Media

For promotional purposes, there may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the conference. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the organisers by email to modwenna@angelnews.co.uk prior to the event.

You are permitted to take photographs, but not to film or undertake any other recording of the event.  Any filming or recording activity at an event will be deemed a breach of copyright and TMRM Ltd reserves the right to take appropriate action if it becomes aware of such activity.

You are welcome to make use of social media before, during and after an event, subject to the above. 

10. Data Protection

TMRM Ltd will ensure all confidential information on delegates is kept in accordance to the Data Protection Act and will not pass on their contact details to any third parties. Occasionally third parties will hire TMRM Ltd to send out emails on their behalf, but the email will come from TMRM Ltd and contact details will not be passed on. 

11. Fundraising and Financial promotions

You will be aware that fundraising activity by companies is regulated under the relevant laws of the UK including the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000. If you attend our events, you should not engage in fund raising activity without ensuring that you and your organisation are complying with the appropriate regulatory restrictions. Please note at no time will TMRM Ltd accept liability whatsoever from any party, for the actions of attendees at its event in connection with fundraising or from fund raising activity that takes place as a result of the event. If TMRM Ltd becomes aware of individuals or corporates undertaking fundraising activity at our events, we will remove you from the event. In these circumstances no refund on your delegate ticket or sponsorship will be offered.

12. Websites & Links

The conference and associated TMRM Ltd websites may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which TMRM Ltd takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to this website.

13. Insurance

It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. TMRM Ltd cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.

14. VAT

All tickets are subject to the current VAT (valid exemptions only).

15. Distance selling regulations 2000

We abide by the applicable elements of the Distance selling regulations 2000. 

16. Fair processing

All information that we hold concerning you will be held and processed by TMRM Ltd strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.

Such data will be used by TMRM Ltd to administer our relationship with you as a customer.  We will not, without your consent, supply your name and addresses to any [other] third parties except where (1) such transfer is a necessary part of the activities that we undertake, or (2) we are required to do so by operation of law.
